Loh Bagao & Lannah Bay

Loh Bagao is one of Phi Phi Island's secrets. Imagine a coconut stewn beach in paradise surrounded by limestone cliffs on one side and bounded by the aquamarine blue of the Andaman Sea on the other side. This is the Loh Bagao and Lannah Bays on Koh Phi Phi Don.  With themajesty of Loh Dalum Bay (Dolphin bay) and deep waters of Tonsai Bay it is not well know celebrated or crowded. And this is the attraction Loh Bagao.

Tonsai has 1500 hotel rooms but Loh Bagao and Lannah Bay have only 104 rooms.  Loh Bagao resorts Phi Phi Island Village Resort and Spa & Phi Phi Island Village Resort Hillside Villas .

The coral off Loh Bagao is best in the south of the Bay towards Ao Pak Nam. Lannah Bay coral is in good condition also.

Hin Klang is the islands best reef. The resorts of the Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island , Zeavola Resort and Phi Phi Natural Resort   are nearest to Hin Klang reef.

Laem Tong peninsula is 3 km away from Loh Bagao. Lana Beach is in the Loh Bagao area. Walking past Lana Bay towards Nui Bay takes you to the west side beach. 

Walking all the way to Tonsai Village is long and difficult.  You take a bridge over the north end of Loh Bagao and walk 800m then you must climb over the hill.  The climb is a difficult 3km and you have cross tidal rocks covered with very slippery seaweed. Good hikers can do it in 60 minutes.  Normal people best hire a boat man to taxi them to Ton Sai Village.
